Biography
Kwasi received his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from the School of Engineering of the University of Ghana in 2018, graduating with first class honours in Materials Science and Engineering. Based on his academic performance, he was honoured with the “DEAN’S AWARD” by the department in 2017 and 2018 respectively. Due to his exceptional teaching skills, he was accepted as a Teaching Assistant at University of Ghana’s Materials Science and Engineering Department for the 2018/2019 academic year.
As part of his undergraduate program, he carried out his final year research project in the area of synthesizing activated carbon adsorbents from agricultural waste materials for removal of mercury from drinking water. Kwasi is a Commonwealth Scholarship recipient for 2019/2020 and he is currently reading M.Sc. Materials for Energy and Environment at UCL (Chemistry Department).
