
Biography
Saul started his scientific career in 2021 at the University of Liverpool where undertook an integrated Masters degree in Chemistry, graduating in 2025. His final year project was “The Development of PestE for Sustainable Amide Synthesis” with a focus on the synthesis of anti-malarial precursors under the supervision of Professor Andrew Carnell.
In 2025, Saul joined the Davies group as a PhD student.
Research
Saul’s research focuses on using responsive hydrogels as a method of delivering magnetic resonance-active nanoparticles to sense wound infections following surgical intervention.
